Kanishka's

Dilip and Nandita Raja founded Kanishka's in 1970 out of a modest love for handloom fabrics and the name of their firstborn child. Kanishka's, which spearheaded the resurgence of hand-block printing in India, combines creativity and tradition to create beautiful sarees with a unique touch using only expert hands and no machines. Every drape, whether made of silk or cotton, narrates a tale of creativity and tradition. My mother's affection for Kanishka was incomprehensible to me. However, people turn heads when I go out in one today. Even though trends shift, Kanishka's is still the best option when it comes to block prints. The collections are worn by actors like Aparna Sen, singer Ustha Uthup, media consultant Rita Bhimani, Odissi dancer Sharmila Biswas, and more!
