Love The Big Bang Theory and like Sheldon and gang, you are curious about black holes? For decades, black holes as a phenomenon have captured the imagination of people across the world. Even today, we are sure the concept intrigues the scientist community and the general populace alike. Still a mystery to many, the British Council Library in Kolkata will host a talk titled ‘Light In Search Of Darkness’ – aimed at demystifying the concept and making it easy to understand.
The talk to be led by Dr. Debiprasad Duari,(fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society & International Astronomical Union) is a must for anyone who is interested in the study of space and celestial objects. This session will be a part of the popular Café Scientifique initiative – a worldwide series of talks/meetings outside the traditional academic context aimed at empowering young people to accurately assess science and technology issues.
