This Boutique In Russell Street Stocks Fashionable & Affordable Clothes For Women

A small boutique for women, located towards the end of Russell Street, Shimmer stocks clothes perfect for every day or casual wear as well as for parties and functions. Tops, dresses, kurtis, salwar suits, palazzo skirts, pants – this boutique has it all. We particularly loved this long sky blue colour dress with machine embroidery done on it perfect to wear for, maybe a brunch or small family gatherings. 

The kurta collection is quite impressive with options available in different designs and fabrics like cotton, silk, chiffon, georgette, net, rayon and the famous Lucknowi chikan too. And the price starts at just INR 550! We found a straight-line chequered long kurti perfect for casual wear. 

Have to attend a family function or a wedding? Check out their long salwars and kurtis, though the collection is limited. We found a stunning navy blue long kurti with pearls and gota patti hand embroidery on them perfect for family functions. Watch out for the purple top and hash green pleated skirt set, fit for a mehendi or sangeet function. The fusion top has zardozi and thread embroidery work on it - all done by hand. 

You can find nice tops in different colours and designs – block print, checks, geometric prints and floral prints. And guess what? You can find plus size options as well! The boutique also stocks linen and stretch pants made of lycra and cotton as well as palazzos. The pants start at INR 500 while you can get palazzos for INR 1,050. 

They have a very limited collection. We could find just a single piece of every top, dress, kurti or salwar suit design they had. You cannot get another piece made in the same design or different size.  

They can alter the size and length of your dress for that perfect fit.
