The monster burger has revealed its face, and it's here to troll you until you can slay it whole. The duel date is set, but are you ready to win the first challenge of the new year?
Local Gourmet, our diet BFF that makes healthy (with less oil, salt, homemade sauces and home cured meat) but tasty food along with the city's most popular pork lovers club, The Calcutta Porkaddicts, is setting up a mighty burger challenge on Jan 6 (first Sunday of the new year).
It's not for the tiny mouthed, the slow eaters or the dainty table manners keepers. It's for the real food slayers who's got a giant-sized bite and who shows no remorse in pigging out on food with crumbs and bits stuck to the chin and mouth. Because the monster burger that's up for challenge is full 6 inches tall, made with three porky patty, and comes packing with bacon, pulled pork, sunny side up eggs, cheese, pickles and a whole lot more! Oh, and then there are its accomplices of fries and soft drinks.
You get to be the social media hero and win food gifts (read pork stuffed food), if you can wipe out the burger and its sides the fastest. Plates will be removed 20 minutes later from the start time, but the challenge is definitely to clear your plates much ahead of it.
