What Makes It Awesome

Say hello to Cafe Na-Ru-Meg that offers an amazing and scrumptious selection of food along with a cosy ambience perfect to enjoy a meal alone or with your squad.

Located on Raja Basanta Ray Road (in the same building as the Nameg store), this one is a cycle-themed cafe with a very green, earthy and rustic setup. Named after the three founders, Na-Ru-Meg is spacious and offers beautiful views of the green neighbourhood outside. The indoor seating area is done up using distressed furniture while the outdoor section is lined with different kinds of plants to add to the green and earthy vibe of the place. It's also got tables and high chairs designed in the shape of bicycle wheels, staying true to the theme.

The cafe serves a wide selection of Continental and finger food with breakfast starting as early as 8am. I opened the menu and was so glad to find Cutting Chai on it. You can have your green teas, Assam and Darjeeling teas as much as you want but nothing beats the warmth and calm of a steaming hot cup of cutting chai. The menu comprises an array of stuff like soup, salad, sandwiches, steaks, fries, small bites, pasta, pizza, burgers, wraps and so much more.

Some of the must-tries include Cajun Potato (comes dunked in a creamy cajun-flavoured sauce topped with onions, coriander and chilli), BBQ Chicken Wings, Aglio Olio pasta, Beer Batter Fish Fry, Fish Meuniere, cottage cheese and grilled chicken steaks, and the pizzas. Don't miss the dessert, of course - pancakes, brownies, caramel custard.

Pro-Tip

Their breakfast menu consists of French toast, pancakes, puri bhaji, milk and cornflakes, omelettes and breakfast platters (American, English and Continental) that are definitely worth a try!
