What Makes It Awesome

New restaurant alert! Middleton Street has a new hangout place and we checked it out, obviously.

Located on the ground floor of Old Sikkim House, Club Urban Tyro is the newest kid on the block serving a delectable spread of Oriental and North Indian cuisine. Done up beautifully with swanky interiors and a kickass bar, this places exudes luxury. It also boasts of two private dining areas that can easily accommodate about 10-12 people.

The menu boasts of a wide selection of appetisers, mains, beverages and desserts. Raunak Nath, the owner, drew inspiration from the city's very own Chinatown and that reflects in the restaurants selection of the food. From Truffle Mushroom and Cream Cheese dumplings (highly recommended) to different varieties of noodles, rice and sides, this one has it all. We tried the Burnt Garlic Fried Rice and Chongqing Chicken Claypot and absolutely loved it. The rice was full of flavours and the chicken was spicy and had mushrooms too.

But if it's Indian food that has your heart, then you must try the Dal Makhani and Zaffrani Malai Kofta. If you are more into appetisers, then we'd totally recommend the Chilli Chicken Bao, Thai Corn Fritters, Dynamite Prawns and Fish Anarkali or their selection of kebabs and tikkas. You're not going to be disappointed. Wash it all down with the Kit Kat Shake or mocktails like Bloody Tyro or Luscious Litchi.

Gather your tribe and drop in today!

What Could Be Better

There's no separate section for hookah. If you can't take the smell, it might not be a good idea to visit because the restaurant, though big, has quite a compact seating arrangement.

Pro-Tip

Want to host a small get-together or birthday party? Book their private dining area perfect for small parties and events.
