What Makes It Awesome
Crazie Needle is a new multi-designer store launched on December 16, 2017 by V&C fashion house. It’s located opposite the Salt Lake stadium. They stock carefully curated ready-to-wear couture and pret collections for men and women from a range of designers like Kanika Singh, Keva, Poonam’s, Priya Agarwal, Priyanka Jain, Rhea, Threads, Orange Saco and accessories like bow ties, jewelry and bags.
The designer stock is creatively displayed in an interesting backdrop. Everything has been laid out with thought — jewelry displayed in burnished trunks, distressed paint on doors and wall, spools of thread, colorful buttons in jars and a circular dressing/trial area. Look out for the upended brass cycle in the window display. The warm, earthy tones and capacious shopping space means you can browse at a relaxed pace.
They also stock the in-house label Vinita & Chetan, named after the folks who set up this store. Chetan is from a business family and was always passionate about entrepreneurship and Vinita’s desire to vent her creative energy seeded the bond for their friendship. Their work draws inspiration from architecture, ancient carvings and culture and transforms them into classic but fashion-forward embroideries, and surface developments. The label — showcased at the India Runway Week Summer in 2017 — is young and effortlessly elegant, aimed at women who love to explore and experiment with their style.
If you need something customised, they can do that for you — it takes around 20 working days for heavy pieces, and 10 for lighter ones.
