What The Duck?

The Oriental Duck Festival at Chowman is ‘ducking good’. Celebrate the flavours of Asia in the tender meatiness of duck. Soups, starters mains you’ll get any and everything {except dessert!} in duck form. Duck Noodle Soup, Duck Spring Roll, Duck prepared in traditonal Chinese and Asian sauces like Barbecue Sweet Chilli, Honey Soya Glazed Duck, Five Spiced Roaste, you’ll be spoilt for choice. The festival is on till January 10 20 18. A meal for two will set you back just INR 1,000+ which {fconsidering duck is an exotic meat!} is a steal. Check out the whole menu here.

Who's Ready For A Porkathon?

Ping’s Cafe Orient is pulling out all the stops when it comes to porky delights. On till January 2, 2018, their Christmas and festive menu is an Asian porky delight. Think dishes that the city has never seen or even heard of before {except on Masterchef!}: Fig Wrapped Parma Ham, Smokey BBQ Pork ribs and Pulled Pork Pancakes. Grab a pork lover and go! They’re even doing insane cocktails and desserts {mulled wine included!} which you have to try.

Festive Feasting

Mani Square’s Chapter 2 is all about giving you a  yuletide treat that includes turkey, duck, beef, pork and lamb preparations — and it’s on the buffet so you can eat as much as you want! Get European meaty classics like Apple Stuffed Pork, Roast Turkey In Cranberry Sauce, Roast Turkey In Red Wine Sauce and  Roast Duck In Orange Sauce. The buffet on December 31st will set you back INR 999+ and on January 1, it is INR 899+. You can get the a-la-carte menu every day till January 2, 2018 for INR 1,000+ for two.

Winter Specials From The Traditional Master

 If Flurys is known for anything, it’s for doing classic dishes with finesse and great taste. Till January 7 2018, you can warm the cockles of your heart with their extravagant winter menu which celebrates meat like no other. Traditional Roast Turkey with all trimmings or Prociutto-wrapped Stuffed Grilled Quail, whatever your poison, they have you covered. Don’t miss out on the special drinks and desserts: the Flurys Port-flavoured ‘Yuletide’ Sangria and the traditional Christmas Pudding with brandy sauce or the Gingerbread Pudding.

What’sup is celebrating winter with an entire food festival dedicated to turkey! Turkey Meatballs and Turkey A La King and tons more traditional dishes that will have you ‘turkey’ing all the way! The festival ends on January 1 so make sure to try it before that.
