Trapeze Kitchen and Bar

Located at the iconic Park street around the posh areas, Trapeze Kolkata introduces all day club for your near and dear ones with all its pomps and flavours. Spread across two different floors, the upper floor serves shiksha and the ground floor dedicates to family dining completely. As the names suggests, Trapeze means horizontal bars hung by ropes or metal straps from a ceiling support. The ambience of this place is also very similar to it.
With wide spacious comfortable seating area, Trapeze gives you the pleasure to choose between plush sofas and high bar chairs. As soon as you enter, you will be taken to the heights of luxury with all that jazz. The bar is overwhelming surrounded by classy decors, rythmic music and plush interiors giving you a gastronomical experience. The yellow lights flatter with glow and special mention to the see-through Italians windows towards each corner which gives a magestic view of the greeneries outside. The scintillating sight and the set theme after the evening hours will dive to a completely new place leaving you awestruck!
Coming to the food, we tried some of the dishes from their wide range of global cuisines, soothing cocktails and extensive dessert menu. I had crumbed chicken cajun sliders which were 3 and topped with balsamic onions amd blue cheese dressing. Must say the slider was delicious in taste. Then I tried their smoked chicken pizza topped with rucela, feta and chilli. The crust was thin and crunchy and tasted pretty good. Lastly from the dessert section, I chose to have Frost bite. It is sphere shaped coated with dark chocolate filled inside with a base of dark chocolate ice cream and nuts and on the top with mandarin orange vanilla ice cream. Now this was surely something very unique and new to me. Also I was hesitant to try it our since I ain't an orange ice cream lover. But trust me guys, when I took a first bite, I had no regrets at all. It was purely heaven with no tint and taste of orange at all. Other recommended dishes are pan sheared chicken breast, dumplings, khao suey, braised pork belly with beer and apple, and one of their signature desserts hazelnut mille feuille. The service was a bit slow but the hospitality was top notch.
They often have live performances during weekends. So let the chic vibe take you to new style dimension. If you planning to lunch out with your friends or family near park street, you can surely give here a try.
