The bill to legalise marijuana is up for discussion in the winter session of parliament which is officially scheduled between December 15, 2017 and January 6, 2018. A group of people don’t want to risk the parliament ignoring this important issue and continue the prohibition. Hence, they have organised The Great Legalisation Movement, India across several cities which will have marches to support the legalisation of cannabis and hemp. It’s part of a global movement to free the weed.

Why Should I Go?

The organisers of the march believe that cannabis is one of the most medicinal plants known to man has been labeled as a bad narcotic due to a political agenda. Hemp is a variant of cannabis without the narcotics affect which can be used to create environment-friendly alternatives to hundreds of products such as wood, paper, plastic etc.
