Butterflies are great indicators of a healthy ecosystem. Luckily, our city is still a rich haven for butterflies with an impressive 120 to 150 species. This Friendship Day set your little ones up with with Nature Mates as volunteers to set up homes for butterflies at the Banabitan Butterfly Garden in Salt Lake’s central park. They will revel in the sight of pretty colourful maze of butterflies happily frolicking about sweet scented nectar plants like lantana, periwinkle, cosmos and hibiscus.
