Snacking Cafe is holding a board game meet up so set aside a couple of hours this Sunday - head here to have a fun day with your gang. The event is being hosted by Kirti Rathi who used to run one of the best board game cafes in Kolkata where the games were not an afterthought, but the theme (it has shut down since then, unfortunately).
Expect games like Catan and Carcassone (where players create a Medieval French landscape featuring robbers, monks, knights and more), Takenoko and some based on Lord Of The Rings or Game Of Thrones. We hope to also see Twilight Struggle – one of the top-ranked board games in the world whose theme is taken from the Cold War.
Hours of mind work means hunger pangs. Snacking Cafe has a wide array of dishes and drinks that will keep those grey cells ticking.
