This hole-in-the-wall of a restaurant serves some of the most delectable biryanis and rolls in the city.

Beef Malai, Anyone?

This small joint on Park Circus opposite Missionaries of Charity is one those iconic places, particularly famous for their biryanis. The beef biryani {INR 85} here is sublime, with a meaty flavour permeating the rice, succulent beef pieces and the mandatory chunk of potato.

Another must-have is the Beef Malai {INR 55} which has tender beef pieces in a rich and sweetish cashew gravy which has a topping of malai. Soak up the decadent dish up with one of their soft tandoori rotis.

Khichris & Biryanis

They also do a beef bhuna {INR 45) and rolls {these are very popular and get sold out fast}. Wash your meal down with a glass of ghol {INR 15} — a yoghurt-based cooling drink that also acts as a digestive. Top it all up with a firni {INR 30} served in a clay bowl — the creamy and deicious dessert comes with a caramel taste because of the date palm jaggery they use.

Every Friday, they serve up a beef khichri {INR 85}.

All the beef dishes we mentioned comes in chicken and mutton versions as well.

They also take bulk orders if you’re planning to have people over. Just make sure you give them advance notice as they need to plan.
