Despite the fact that we all have been to the famous Bara Bazar, Nakhoda mosque and Zakaria street, there is always something new about the place. With over hundreds of little shops, temples and food stalls, the place is a photographer's paradise.
The place has some amazing shops that sell pickles, candies and mouth fresheners. The dry fruits sold in the market are way cheaper than in most supermarkets, and so stock up on some healthy nuts like walnuts, almonds and salted pistachios.
The forgotten lanes and bylanes of the place are filled with crumbling old buildings, great shops, beautiful temples and mosques. The buildings and tiny shops are worth being clicked for Instagram.
Also, hop into the little shop named Abhinandan for some snacks and combos. I loved their dhokla chaat which was topped with 3 chutneys {INR 50} and a combo that comprised of four puris, aloo subzi, fresh sev and a gulab jamun {INR 50}. For all those who have time, take a walk to the Rabindra Bharati University, or visit the museum for a nice time.
