Not just coconut milk and heavy curries, this Thai Food Festival at Vintage Asia will smash any Thai food stereotype you may have and make you miss your last trip to Bangkok. So go ahead and say goodbye to your thigh gap!

What Makes It Awesome

Say hello to bags of perfectly balanced spices, unique flavour combinations and more-ish food and goodbye to overdone green curries and stringy dry satay, Vintage Asia’s newest food festival has us exploring Thai cuisine like never before. Take a trip to every part of Thailand with dishes from all parts of the country. We are all about the big, bold, spicy flavours from the North – start your meal with aromatic mushroom and chicken salads (that don’t give salad a bad name). Go on a seafood binge with dishes inspired by South Thailand like the Pla Thod (the perfect combination of a sweet and spicy fish to chow down with some sticky rice) and stir-fried giant prawns.

If you’re still craving your staple Thai dishes, they have a unique rendition of the red curry – a dryer, stickier version of the classic red curry, this one comes with chunks of beautiful fresh fish. Tofu is another big hit on the menu, with silky smooth tofu cooked in a variety of ways – we love the smoky tofu satay served with a creamy peanut sauce, tofu soup and the stir-fried tofu.

Street-style Thai dumplings called sakoo (for all who love the classic tapioca and coconut combination) is the best way to cleanse your palate after the meal.

Pro-Tip

Make a reservation for a table – Vintage Asia is only open for dinner on weekdays and lunch and dinner on lunch. You can also ask for the private dining room for a real celebration.
