Get your dose of amazing fusion food at Hola, a pub in Southern Avenue. Tandoori kebabs with continental marination? Pork ribs but toasted, not grilled or fried? Baos with lotus stem flour? Count us in! Hola has something for everyone — be it desi classics like masala kulcha and dal makhani, or continental-desi fusion foods.
The menu is not only well curated, but also takes special care to present to you very unique flavors in whichever dish they serve. Their vegetarian dishes are as innovative and tasty as their non-vegetarian dishes. We loved the veg manchow at just INR 175+ (also available in the non-vegetarian variant), which is a bowlful of warm soup with a warm dumpling inside. For INR 375 each, we also loved their mushroom teriyaki bao, their Hola special kebabs (we strongly recommend this one!) and golden fried prawns with pumpkin puree, which is one of the best preparations of prawn we have had yet.
Their mocktails are also fusion-based, tangy and refreshing — do try their Guavatini. Hola believes in personalised experiences — so if there’s any dish where you want for instance prawns to be replaced by chicken, or say sriracha sauce to be replaced with barbeque sauce, or any ingredient you want added or replaced, all you need to do is ask. The chefs will try their best to give you each dish exactly how you want it.
