Head to this 100-year-old shop in New Market that stores an exquisite collection of kaftans, carpets, rugs, shawls, bags and even furniture, all sourced from Kashmir ki wadiyan,

What Makes It Awesome

If you're a Bollywood keeda like us, then the 90s song Bhumro starring the stunning Preity Zinta must have given you major Kashmir vibes. But like us, you are probably still looking for that perfectly embellished kaftan with Kashmiri embroidery. Head to New Market, and scout out the Kashmir Gift House. A storehouse of all things Kashmiri, it was hard to keep a check on our budget when we noticed Kashmiri embroidered kaftans, kurtas, pherans and pashmina shawls, neatly tucked inside cabinets.

Bored of the cliched cushion covers? Check out their collection of Aari work cushion covers that can definitely spruce up your drawing room. For a warm look, throw in an authentic Kashmir rug in your room, or pick wooden furniture inspired by a bygone era. The shawls and suits start from INR 300 and go up to INR 1,200.

The store also has, (what we are told is) authentic walnut wood furniture, including a mammoth dining table, coffee table, chairs and stools. They are bit expensive, ranging between INR 45,000 and INR 2,00,000. They also have adorable marble boxes, pen and candle stands in varying shapes and sizes, all INR 200 onwards.

You can also check their collection of woollens and jackets, sourced from Ludhiana, starting INR 1,000.
