What Makes It Awesome

Ki & Ka Fashion Studio is a small store in Kankurgachi that does some beautiful designs and customisations in apparel for both men and women. No matter what material or design it is, they’ll have it customised for you just the way you want it.

Run by mother-daughter duo Swapna and Kavita Bangani, Ki & Ka stocks kurtis, ghaghras, lehengas, Indo-Western sarees, suits, pants, skirts tops, gowns, formal and bridal wear and different kinds of drapes for women. Men! Check out their collection of sherwanis, casual kurtas and pajamas, formal shirts, pants, Indo-Westerns, jackets and blazers.

We spotted a full-sleeve satin top with hand embroidery done on it along with dhoti pants in muslin right at the entrance of the store. Pull off an effortless day-time event look with this outfit priced at INR 5,250. Watch out for their collection of sarees that come with unique blouses and jackets. We loved the organza saree paired with a net jacket with mirror work done on it priced at INR 6,800. You’ll also find apparel in cotton, muslin, chiffon and georgette fabrics.

All you men out there! Get your hands on their casual kurtas, jackets or handmade belts. Or ace your office look with their range of formal shirts in pure cotton. Pair a kurta with a contrasting printed jacket and you’re good to go attend any function. Wedding day arriving soon? Check out their sherwani collection.

Have a design in mind and want to get it stitched? These guys have you covered. Prices start at INR 900 for office/casual wear and can go up to INR 65,000 for wedding wear for men whereas, for women, it can go up to INR 70,000 to INR 80,000.

They also do plus size customisations in all kinds of designs.

Pro-Tip

The store is a little difficult to locate. While you will be able to spot the board, the store is only on the fifth floor of a building near this shop called Kolapuri Centre – quite a few feet away from the board.  We’d recommend taking an appointment before visiting.
