TATA Steel Kolkata 25k
Cutting right through the city, past rivers, parks and historic places in the city, this Half Marathon is probably the most well-known in the city {you must have seen the dozens of posters around town with Sourav Ganguly}.
In the past two years, they’ve had over 12,000 participants in the past and now you can join that number. The 25k run is open to all above the age of 18 years.

IDBI Federal Life Insurance Kolkata Full Marathon 2018
Starting and finishing on Red Road, Kolkata is gearing up for the second edition of IDBI Marathon. I’ts in February of 2018 so you still have time in hand to prepare. All about promoting a healthy lifestyle, the run starts at INR 450 for 5k and goes up to INR 1,550 for 42.2k. For the Full and Half Marathon the minimum age to participate is 18 years. JBG Kolkata Trail Run
Ditch the asphalt, hit this trail run which is easier on the knees. JBG Kolkata Trail Run is probably the most picturesque trail run in the city – you’ll get to explore the wetlands of Kolkata! Anando Run
Run4u, a group of Kolkatans {all about keeping fit and encouraging each other to live a helthy lifestyle} are hosting their first ever event – Run For Happiness — all the proceeds of which will go towards making India hunger-free. You can opt for the FM, HM, 10km or 5km runs. Event venue and registration links aren’t up yet so keep a lookout on their Facebook page for more details.

Patriot Run Kolkata
Here’s your chance to show patriotism towards the country as well as gratitude towards martyrs. The Patriotic Run will help contribute towards the families of those who have lost their lives for the country. The run starts at 6:30 AM from the City Centre 1, Salt Lake. Ticket prices are INR 650 for 3 km, 5 km and 10 km {which is as far as the marathon goes}. The route map hasn’t been released yet – it will be shared two days before the run so make sure you keep yourself posted. You can register here.
