#LBBRecommends: An Evening Of Queer Poetry At This Amazing Pop-Up Cafe

This Sunday, head over to Jadavpur for an evening filled with the poetry, conversations and some great food.

The Queer Poetry Evening is the first of a monthly event at the Amra Odbhuth Queer Cafe, a space for the LGBTQ community and its allies. Amra Odbhuth aspires to be a safe space that can give queer narratives a platform and visibility that the community feels comfortable with. The pop-up cafe and their events have grown to be a very popular and colourful Kolkata social space. You can expect an evening filled with stories, laughter and community building. Everyone is invited to join in the performances. The cafe kitchen will also be open for orders. The food is absolutely smashing – we’ve had the most amazing grilled fish, lemon cakes, tarts and other goodies.
