What Makes It Awesome

I visited the new outlet of Momo I Am right next to Kalyan Jewellers near City Center 1 Mall in Salt Lake Sector 1. The first thing that attracts your attention is their wall art when you enter the restaurant. It's so hip and everyone of all age groups shall find it cool. It's quite spacious too and you can see the kitchen where they cook the food and it's very well maintained.

I tasted the Indonesian pork salad, crispy lotus stem, chicken xo dim sums, pork and water chestnut dim sums, prawn hargao, chicken hangover momos, Shanghai chicken momos, harissa pork, pork and chicken baos, Momo I Am mixed chopsuey, drums of hell, Bangkok noodle soup, cheesecake and the raspberry bao {sweet}.

All their dishes were very well presented and delicious. The momos especially. The Bangkok noodle soup and chopsuey were also standouts. They have a lot of other options to choose from as well. Can't wait to go back.

What Could Be Better?

Absolutely nothing ticked me off. The drums of hell could have been a bit better but then again by the time I got to taste it, it had gotten cold so can't judge aptly. This place is a gem waiting to become mainstream and is absolutely a recommendation by me to all foodies out there.

What's My Pro Tip?

The portions are larger than they seem on the plate. Especially the noodles. Don't forget to order the many kinds of momos and the baos they serve as they're some of the best you'll find anywhere in the city.

It's right next to Kalyan Jewellers at a big crossing so it's hard to miss. Cabs are also easily available. Enjoy the food hot.

Anything Else?

Do visit a lot of times and try out everything. They also have three other outlets in Kolkata at Lake Gardens, Golpark and Chinar Park. You can visit one of those too.
