Love To Read? Make Sure You Attend This Book Launch At Sei Vui

Calling all book lovers! Tata Steel Kolkata Literary Meet, in association with Simon and Schuster, is launching Chandrahas Choudhury's book 'Days Of My China Dragon' in the city on Friday, May 17, 2019. The book will be launched at the iconic Sei Vui restaurant in Tiretti Bazaar. 

The author will be in conversation with Kunal Basu, who has written 'The Japanese Wife' and 'Kalkatta'. 

The session will go on for an hour until 7:45 pm after which you will be taken on a tour of the premises and then dinner!

Sei Vui in Kolkata’s old Chinatown (Tirretti Bazar) is located in an atmospheric red brick structure dating back to 1896. It used to be a dormitory for the people of China’s Sei Vui village who came to the city looking for jobs under the British. 

You can collect your passes from the Gameplan office in Shakespeare Sarani. The office is open till 6 pm. Sei Vui is an iconic structure dating back to the 19th century. Make sure you check it out before leaving.
