Love Wai Wai? A New Joint Just Opened Up Near Vivekananda Park & Is Serving Up Your Favourite Noodles!

Love Wai Wai and DIY-ing your own bowls? This little noodle joint is churning out delicious noodles at pocket friendly prices.

Leading a bachelor life? Live alone? Or simply, love Wai Wai? Then this place is just made for your indulgence. This lesser known small joint  {with a capacity of hardly 12 people and the kitchen and counter right in front} serves up various versions of Wai Wai — some avatars you would have never would have thought!  They cook them the ordinary way {boiling} and also deep fry the noodles, or serve it roasted or crunchy, chopsuey style. Starting from Chinese flavours to noodles infused with chatpate desi spices, there’s a lot to choose from.

The best part os that you can also DIY your bowl, choosing from their options of noodles, veggies, meats and sauces! It is perfect for untimely hunger pangs, which need to be satisfied on a budget.

The Bang Bang Noodles is highly recommended if you like heat and spice. And if you are a flavour fanatic, order the Tokyo Express, which has yummy teriyaki sauce and exotic vegetables. The sesame seeds give it that extra crunch and flavour. I’d recommend you go for the classic Wai Wai bhel before you chow down your main course bowl of noodles — it’s just for INR 79 and has oodles of flavour!

The small bowls are for INR 99 and the bigger ones are for INR 169 — so totally worth it!

They have a total of four locations all through the city in Prince Anwar Shah Road, Elgin and Camac Street. The one in Lake Road is their newest joint {it’s at P 549 Lake Road, near Vivekananda Park}.
