Craving a nice, authentic Chinese meal? Well, you can't really beat Mainland China then.
Located on the top floor of Avani Mall, Mainland China is the place to go to for an authentic Chinese meal (if you're in the mood to splurge because it is expensive!). Similar to the other outlets, this one also has quite a sophisticated setup with Chinese influences. It's done up beautifully in the traditional red, white and black colours with Chinese showpieces and wall frames adorning the space.
Start off with their range of soups - the Lemon Coriander Soup available in veg, chicken and prawn options is a must-have. A meal here cannot be complete without dumplings. The Thai Style Veg Dumplings and Prawn Hargao are personal favourites. They also have a wide selection of seafood if that's what you prefer. Fish lovers must try. For mains, we'd definitely recommend the Mixed Meat Fried Rice and Pan Fried Noodles in Hot Garlic Sauce. Order a Seasonal Vegetables in Smoked Chilli Sauce or General Tao's Chicken (diced chicken in a sweet, sour and spicy soy sauce with crushed peanuts) on the side and you're all set for a soul-satisfying meal.
Finish it all off with the Coconut Caramel Custard or Hot Chocolate Rolls with Vanilla Ice Cream.
