Apparel, artwork or stationery products, this city brand has all of it and more on offer for everyone.

Amp up your fashion game or give your casa an artistic look with The Meraki Store's range of trendy and fashionable clothes for women as well as handicrafts and artwork, including Patachitra. The brand does handcrafted and eco-friendly products thereby giving a boost to local artisans and craftsmen. Get your hands on their range of cotton silhouettes like flowy, draped or semi draped and simple cut dresses made of phulia tant in different colours. Their prices start at INR 1,500 and go up to INR 3,500.

Noksha, their sub brand, stocks t-shirts for regular use in block-print as well as in prints of paintings and portraits of renowned artists like Frida, Ritwick Ghatak, John Lennon, Picasso and Lenin. They also do scarves and stoles in innovative prints and designs. We loved the blue hand-printed one made in pure cotton with hand embroidery and detailing of threads and pompoms done on it. Prices start at INR 300.

If you're big on stationery, then get hold of their range of cloth-binded or handmade notebooks or books from Mon Fakira publication. Some are also imported from Bangladesh. All you art aficionado! Buy paintings, artefacts, sculptures made of metal, ceramics and dokra. They collect and make their own dokra products from villagers in Dokra. Prices start at INR 500. You'll have to shell out a lot more for the sculptures obviously. All of it is handmade by local artists from different villages.

Their standout artwork has to be the Patachitra made by local artists in Bengal. Prices for this one start at INR 2,000. You can also get plus-size clothes here.

Pro-Tip

The Meraki Store organises workshops from time to time. They did one on enamel painting on metal plates recently. So keep a check on their Facebook and Instagram pages.
