As soon as you enter the premises and walk up toward the plaza, the first stall that you will spot is every Calcuttan’s favourite – puchka! All you ardent puchka lovers, you must try the puchkas from this stall. These scrumptious little balls filled with aloo masala and tamarind water is sure to tug your heart strings. One plate has 5 puchkas at INR 20. The price is slightly on the higher side but, hey, puchka is love right? And, these are totally worth it!
The Spice Tree
Head to The Spice Tree for some mouth-watering chaat, vada pav and pav bhaji. Try the Cheese Vada Pav priced at INR 80. The Dahi Papdi Chat is also a must try at INR 60. They also serve Tandoori Momos at their stall as well as several varieties of steamed sweet corn. And of course, don’t forget the Pav Bhaji!
Satisfy your Italian cravings at this stall in Metro Plaza. They serve sandwiches, fries, burgers, pasta, pizza, wai wai and desserts. Phew! That’s quite a lot of stuff. Try the Grilled Cheesy Sandwich or the Chilli Cheese Toasties both priced at INR 110. Don’t miss the Veg Steamed Momos – they are delicious. The Brownie with Ice Cream served at Yum Tum will leave you wanting for more.

Krishna Juice Centre
Beat the heat with the amazing juices at the Krishna Juice Centre. This place makes over 15 kinds of juices and shakes enough to make you feel cool in this scorching heat. Those who love lassi or shikanji, don’t worry. This stall has something for you too. The orange and watermelon juices are a must try! Also check out the cold coffee and chocolate special shake. The prices are slightly on the higher side though.
How can a meal be complete without having kulfi at the end of it? Once you are done eating and are looking for some sweet dish to finish your meal with, head to Krishna Kulfi. He serves kesar pista, orange, mango, sitaphal and chiku kulfis, all of it priced at INR 40.
Arun Tea Stall
There are also quite a few food stalls inside the shopping centre. As soon as you enter the centre and go straight, the first stall you will see will be Arun Tea Stall. Get ready for some chai, samosas and jalebi! They also have several kinds of chaat, chop, kachoris and puffs, along with the mouth-watering gulab jamun. The prices are on the higher side though with chai priced at INR 20. But the food is delicious and definitely worth a try!
This delicious momo chain has an outlet in Metro Plaza as well. Try their veggie steamed and pan-fried momos, which is sure to leave you wanting for more. They don’t have the wok options here but their momos are delicious enough to satisfy your soul.
If you wish to have some tea or coffee or you like fries and smileys, then Food Bites is where you should go. They also different a few varieties of Maggi like the spicy masala Maggi priced at INR 50. The stall also has burgers, sandwiches, pastas and different cold drinks to satiate those crazy hungry pangs. You will spot the stall right opposite Wow Momo.
Finish off your meal with a dash of sweetness. Head to Kwality Walls for their amazing varieties of ice-cream. They also have waffles, brownies, cold coffee and shakes.
