What's Happening

Red Sky Pirates, a well known band from Darjeeling, will be performing live at Momo I Am, RDB Boulevard, on February 1 (Friday) and 2 (Saturday), 8pm onwards. Red Sky Pirates performs alternative, rock, blues & jazz numbers. After being shortlisted in 2014 for the Hornbill International Rock contest they have performed in Bhutan, Shillong and other places. This will be their first ever performance in Kolkata. They are expected to perform covers like Chaleycha batas by Shambhu Rai, Slow dancing in a burning room by John Mayer, I feel good by James Brown and some of their originals as well. 

How's The Venue

Momo I Am's new outlet at RDB, Boulevard, Salt Lake, Sector V, is called Cafe I Am. It's huge and sprawling, and magnificently done up with graffiti murals (crouching tiger to the Dalai Lama and the astronaut), tempered with indoor plants, large Buddhist curios and quirky artwork. Unlike their other existing joints, this outlet serves alcoholic drinks. And they organise live music performances on a regular basis.

No cover or entry charges are applicable. Momo I Am regular food menu will be available. The bar will also be open.
