I had seen a lot of posts about this place on Instagram, and I couldn't wait to visit it, and that's why the day I reached Shillong, I visited them for lunch.
The road that leads to the cafe is gorgeous with tall coniferous trees on either side just like in the Twilight movies. The cafe itself is a bungalow that offers a beautiful view. The interiors are done so well, and it's an upbeat cafe with vibrant decor. They've laid mattresses for you to sit on and relax while you enjoy delicious food. Oh, and they even have other seating options available.
Coming to the food, I was surprised that a good meal for four cost us only around INR 1,600, and we were quite full. Although the place is pocket-friendly, it doesn't compromise on the quality, everything we tried was delicious and fresh.
Their farmhouse pizza was one of the best pizzas I've tried in a while! The Veg Shillong noodles and steamed momos were also on point. We also tried out penne pasta in rosè sauce (pink sauce) and Wai-Wai thukpa, which was a slight disappointment as it was way too soupy (I know it's supposed to be a soup but a little less water could have made a big difference). To end our meal, we had hot chocolate which was perfect with the gorgeous view.
I recommend everyone visiting Shillong to have at least one meal here.
