Everyone! If you want to start your festive celebrations on a musical note, you have to be present at Mirchi Jalsaghar. It will be an evening to remember as your see your favourites – Amit Trivedi, Fossils and Mir and Bandage perform their best renditions.
Why Should I Go
This will be the sixth consecutive year of this musical extravaganza. You will be treated to live music for six hours at Jalsaghar 2017 featuring some leading musicians/artists. Jalsaghar is noted for its divergent artistic lineup and hosts a large number of established and emerging local artists alongside major Bollywood acts.
If you haven’t heard Amit Trivedi live, you should. This is the guy who in 2009, did the refreshing soundtrack for Dev D with indie elements that resonated with the youth, and won National awards. Hear him perform special numbers from Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi, Queen, Lootera and many more.
Kolkata favourites Fossil, with Rupam Islam at the helm will also keep you on your toes with Untrishey October, Stobdho Jibon, Nishkromon, and Aupodartho. And hear Mir and Bandage belt out hits like Awesome Sala.
