Started in 2010 with just one studio in Salt Lake, Mystic Yoga has spread across Kolkata with four studios at Camac Street, Salt Lake, Purna Das Road and Lake Avenue.
Founder Sudhir Maheshwari states that Mystic Yoga aims to promote a healthy lifestyle by adopting a very wholesome approach, through yoga, diet, retreats and meditation. At their yoga studio, you can opt for group classes or personal ones. Classes are held on all seven days of the week, primarily in the mornings and evenings – you can opt for a timing that suits you. Mystic Yoga also offers the possibility of a couples’ class. Their pre-natal and post-natal yoga classes are an excellent way of ensuring the health of the mother and the baby during pregnancy and after.
They offer a variety of classes ranging from therapeutic to advanced level and also allow you to avail a paid drop-in class, in case you want a trial before enrolling yourself as a member.
Apart from yoga classes, they host several meditation workshops and courses that helps the participants deal with stress, anxiety, emotional trauma through an integrated approach. Mystic Yoga organises a number of yoga retreats as well to places like Bodh Gaya, Sikkim, Dharamshala, Uttarkashi and Varanasi among others throughout the year. These retreats are open to all – members and non-members. These retreats are a great way of rejuvenating and enjoying yourself at the same time.

Besides corporate ones, they also host yoga and meditation workshops at correctional homes and rehabilitation centres.
