Bookworms Have To Attend This Bookfair In New Town For The Love Of Reading

This time of the year is for the bibliophiles because the 6th New Town Book Fair is here. Kolkata has an unconditional love for books and this time, you have more 70 stalls to choose from. The theme this year is '200 years of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar' and 'Hundred Years of Manna Dey and Hemanta Mukhopadhyay'. Happening in the New Town Mela Ground, the prime attraction of the fair this year is the National Poetry Festival which is conducted in association with Sahitya Akademi. Hence, this book fair is going to be more than just buying books.

This year the New Town Book Fair will bring the youth into the literature as it hosts the Kolkata Youth Lit Meet for two days, 4th and 5th January 2020.
