Nokrek National Park, located in the Garo hills of Meghalaya is your place to be at if you're one for wildlife and nature. Spread over about 48 sq kms, this national park is a house of wildlife, flora, fauna and more, all at the same place. Nokrek National Park is known to be cultivating more than 23 varieties of citrus fruits out of which Memang Narang (orange of the spirits) is infamous.  

Apart from exploring the park, you can indulge into activities like visiting the Ronbang Dare Waterfalls, Siju Caves and Napak Lake. The park itself will give you many opportunities for trekking and climbing.

The closest station by road and by air is that of Guwahati; from where private vehicles and buses are available to reach the National Park, thus arranging your tickets and finding your way wont be the most difficult thing, at all.
