Say hello to Bake-a-rar - a Kolkata-based brand that makes the most amazing chocolates. Chitrani Manna started this initiative during lockdown out of her love for chocolates and also to help people deal with the stress that came with the pandemic. She makes different kinds of chocolate bars, lollipops, assorted boxes and more. You can also order in her special rum chocolates for that extra kick!
Find chocolates in different flavours like strawberry, Oreo, mango, orange, butterscotch, fruit and nuts, dark, white, milk, marble, tutti fruity and aamsotto to name a few. She uses fresh fruits or fruit extracts to add flavour to her chocolates. No food colours are used. I loved the rum chocolates - it's a creamy blend of dark chocolate and raisins infused with rum. We would also recommend the Couple Chocolate Bar (it's a blend of dark and white chocolate with a mango flavour giving it an intense and melt-in-your-mouth texture) - makes for a great gift idea for your partner.
Prices start at around INR 85 for a chocolate bar, and INR 420 for 12 pieces of rum chocolate.
