This one is for all you readers out there! Oxford, our favourite bookstore, has come up with several activities online to keep you guys occupied. Gear up for interactions with authors, workshops, book readings, reader challenges and author recommendations that'll happen live on their Facebook page. These are all online sessions of storytelling, poetry, art and dance featuring renowned authors, actors, stand-up comedians, mythology writers, cricket umpires, storytellers as well as workshops for kids.
Read books recommended by Naseeruddin Shah, Saurabh Shukla, William Dalrymple, Ruskin Bond, Amish Tripathi and a host of other authors and eminent personalities. Have fun with the Reader Challenge Series that includes writing and photo challenges every week. There's a weekend detective challenge as well called the Work for Holmes where you'll be given a new mystery every Friday while the killer will be revealed on Sunday. Update your Locldown Reading Lists with thrillers, autobiographies, ghost stories, cookbooks and activities like book bingo, fun book posters, music sessions and quizzes.
That's not it. Oxford's also hosting interactive sessions with popular stand-up comedian Papa CJ and cricket umpire Simon Taufel. Let Papercup teach you how to make bookmarks. Learn how to read poetry, tell stories through dance and write. Looking for something for your little munchkin? Well, a fun origami session will keep them entertained and busy for sure!
