The Kolkata-based label deals in shirts, suits, Nehru jackets, different kinds of kurtas, sherwanis, blazers, coats, waist coats, bandhgalas, pyjamas and trousers for men and kids as well as fancy slip-on shoes for weddings and parties. I like that the designs are not too over-the-top but elegant with intricate detailing done enough to make you stand out in the crowd.
Find casual wear shirts made of cotton (most of them have stylised button holes and cuffs along with matt finish buttons!), suits in tericot and polycot fabrics as well as kurtas and jackets in different kinds of silk (munga, matka, raw), linen and satin with detailed embroidery done on them. Our favourites? A brick red draped kurta with sharp cuts and minimal hand embroidery done on it perfect for festivals. We also loved the very regal-looking Indo-Western coat with zari work done on it.
Also, watch out for their range of traditional, handcrafted shoes with fine detailing and embroidery done on them (we loved the burgundy ones with beads and sequins as well as the Rajasthani and Patola printed ones).
