What Makes It Awesome

With over 40 outlets across the country, Charcoal Eats aims to popularise the concept of Indian food being served at quick-service restaurants. Located near the swimming pool in Salt Lake, Charcoal Eats has a warm decor and serves as a great place to grab a quick bite with your buddies!

The menu includes reinvented versions of Indian classics. Their Pav Wows include a range of lip-smacking pavs with kebabs like galouti, seekh and keema. The melt-in-your-mouth kebabs coupled with the buttery pav makes for a delicious and filling snack. What makes it even better? Their food items include no MSG or artificial flavours. Starting at INR 39, these pavs go easy on your pocket as well.

The menu also includes rolls made with Malabari parathas, a range of fries served with a sauce of your choice, kebab platters, biryani and combo meals. You can decide your portion size for biryani by choosing whether you are a light-eater or a heavy-eater. Combo meals and rice bowls comprising a variety of Indian curries served with plain rice, desi ghee rice or parathas make for great, fulfilling meals that are not only healthy and tasty, but also adffordable!

Be sure to try out their Lemongrass Ginger Chai that feels like a warm hug. They serve Kashmiri Kahwa, which is an exotic mix of Kashmiri green tea leaves and spices. The kahwa serves numerous health benefits and is a great way to end your meal. The menu includes flavoured iced-teas as well.

Apart from their usual menu, you can also go for their Daily Drooler, which is the dish of the day available at INR 99 only! You can also contact them for party orders, so the next time you are having a get-together at your place, no need to stress about the food! Charcoal Eats will deliver scrumptious snacks and meals right at your doorstep.

What Could Be Better

As a fast-food place, Charcoal Eats can accommodate a fairly small number of people so it would be great to see them expand a little!  We would love to see more options in the dessert section.
