Starting on August 29 at Birla Academy of Arts and Culture, Syuti Shaili's annual event will exhibit Indian regional handcrafted clothing. Yardage, sarees, apparels, home decor, bags and accessories - there'll be plenty to pick from. If you are hoping to tailor-make apparels this Pujo, then this exhibition is the perfect place to pick some fantastic handcrafted fabrics from different parts of India. Also on the list will be ikat, gollabhama, telia, gadwal, naranypet and other drapes. The exhibition will be on till September 1 and the timings are 11am to 8pm.
The Weaves
This exhibition promises to take care of all your pujo needs - from new home furnishings to gifts and fashion items. A two-day affair (October 6-7), this will be hosted at The Park and will feature designerwear, men'swear, kidswear, footwear, accessories, home decor and lifestyle products. Keep a lookout for the exquisite silk and handwoven weaves.
Style-O Kolkata
New Town and Rajarhat folks, watch out for this one! Another lifestyle and fashion exhibition, Style-O Kolkata will be held at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre between September 1-2. An exhibition encompassing everything (apparel, kids wear, accessories, bags and home decor), this will be a good place to check out handloom items.
