What Makes It Awesome

This old, little shop inside Dakshinapan, Jodhpur Park, will give you the best deals on ethnic clothing.

Let’s accept that certain women like myself are not great friends with jeans or in fact, any heavy material on the bottom (because of the sultry weather and “sweating issues”). Indian summers aren’t exactly built for jeans. My advice to you fashionable ladies would be to opt for loose cotton pants instead. They are airy, breathable, comfortable and non-sticky. I love the collection at this small shop in Dakshinapan, Punjabi Museum (shop no. Z-94). You will find an elderly gent here who designs the cotton palazzos and trousers himself in trending ikat prints, handblock and tie-dye. And they are a steal at INR 450. Team these up with solid tank tops or shirts and big statement earring to slay the scene.

They also keep a line of kurtas and colourful jackets which are perfect for work, college or daily wear. The green jacket shown here is great for a day out with the gang, and the black jacket is perfect for a night out.
