What Makes It Awesome

Craving typical north Indian or local Chinese food? We found Punjabi Tadka for the Rajarhat people in Shapoorji Action Area 3. Now people staying in New Town no longer need to worry on attending to their bellies when it comes to good ol' punjabi food.

Punjabi Tadka is that typical restaurant which stocks the archetypal Chinese food, obviously because of Kolkata's unflinching love for chowmein and chilli chicken! But nevertheless, you can try their North Indian dishes, which includes mughlai parathas and kebabs for appetisers.

Bored of the same ol' tikka and reshmi kebab? Go for their Irani or Amritsari kebab. But the best part is, a full Tandoori Chicken will cost your only INR 280! Seems like the house parties now look sorted.

If you are a roti person, try their garlic kulcha, butter naan, masala kulcha or tandoori butter roti with mattar tadka, daal makhni, mutton do pyaza or kadhai chicken. The kadhai chicken is yum and  perfect for two people. Now no more fights on who gets to savour the maximum number of pieces!

Among their Chinese delicacies, you can try their pan fried lollypop and clear soup for starters. Jump straight into main course with chilli garlic noodles or schezwan fried rice along with chilli mushroom or honey chicken for sides. The honey chicken has the correct amount of sweetness and thankfully it doesn't taste like a dessert!

What Could Be Better

Their vegetarian options are way too less. We really hope they can increase the number of vegetarian dishes.
