We stumbled upon this brand online and immediately fell in love with their range of Indian wear.
Raw Mango stocks a stunning and timeless range of sarees, kurtas, jackets, blouses, shirts, lehengas, odhanis, stoles and dresses. The pieces draw inspiration from the colours, traditions, philosophies and cultures of India. The collection is entirely handwoven dominated by simple, sophisticated and contemporary designs.
I particularly loved their range of sarees - indigenous yet modern. They're mostly made of plain and organza silk with hand embroideries done on them. Spotted this really pretty and bright 'Poppy' saree - a pale blue piece with poppy flower buta hand embroidered on it in 'zardozi.
Also, watch out for the Heer collection - such a beautiful, tradition and classic range of knee-length kurtas, shararas and draped silk satin odhanis that draw inspiration from vintage Varanasi silk brocades with cultural and historical motifs. Find neem tree leaves, geometric lattices and floral trellises embedded on aesthetically pleasing mustard yellow, rani pink, magenta, red, pale pink and rama green pieces.
