Remember Kaidi Kitchen in Camac Street? Well, sadly that's shut down but, hey, the good news is there's another super amazing pub that's opened up at the very same spot called Reality and methinks you should definitely drop in.
Let your hair down at the newest pub in town that boasts of a pretty amazing bar, spaced out seating arrangement, live screens, foot-thumping music and, of course, a lavish food spread. My favourite section is this small space with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that overlook the greenery outside. It looks more like a cafe where you have natural light coming in adding a certain warmth to the place and you can just, maybe, sit and work or go on a date or hang out with the squad. Oh! And did I tell you that they've got lights that are in sync with the music! Yep. You read that right.
The menu is a mix of North Indian, Continental, Italian and Oriental cuisines along with a few options for vegans. From salads and appetisers to sushi, pasta, sizzlers and combo meals, Reality offers it all. We tried the Saago Seekh Kebab, Stuffed Mushroom (baked with garlic, herbed vegetables and lots of cheese!), Asparagus Uramaki (sushi) and Chinese Sizzler (cottage cheese and a veg patty tossed in a Manchurian-like sauce served with noodles and rice) and were left wanting for more. Chicken lovers should try the Grilled Chicken drizzled with a red wine reduction and served with mashed potatoes and sauteed veggies. But if you're a seafood person, then the Goan Prawn Curry should sort you out.
Vegan? They've got quinoa and avocado salads, Ratatouille, Carrot Cake Smoothie (must-try!) and a Strawberry Chocolate Milkshake.
