This 125-year-old shop in New Market was one of Satyajit Ray’s favourites – he even had his characters Feluda, Lalmohan babu and Topshe buying dalmoot from this particular shop at Hogg Market {or New Market}. Later, when Feluda was made into Hindi, it was Shashi Kapoor and Mohan Agashe {in Kissa Kathmandu Ka} who were seen munching on the dalmoot here. Pick up some of the signature Agra dalmoot and meetha chanachur.
