Visiting Sovabazar Rajbari is a very Calcuttan thing to do during Durga Puja. The pujo at the rajbari is all about simplicity and traditions. The idol is set up in sabeki ek-chala style (traditional Durga idols placed on a single platform). You just can't miss the dhunuchi naach and the sindoor khela here. Raja Nabakrishna Deb built one more house on Raja Nabakrishna Street, which his biological son, Rajkrishna, inherited. The rajbari is called Choto Rajbari. It's a short walk from the main Rajbari.
