This year Santosh Mitra Square {in collaboration with designer Agnimitra Paul} is breaking all its records by adorning the idol in a saree made of 20 kilos of pure gold jewelry. Last year, their theme was ‘outer space’, and this year too we are pretty sure we’ll have to push through huge crowds to get a glimpse of the idol. The pandal, made from plaster of Paris and fibre glass, will showcase London’s iconic landmarks like Big Ben, London Bridge, Buckingham Palace and others.
