Santosh Mitra Square certainly knows how to capture the spotlight. With Durga Ma at its centre, Santosh Mitra Square pays tribute to the country's armed forces this year. The Indian Army's recent Operation Sindoor, which involved cross-border attacks on terror facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), is the inspiration for the theme. The pandal is designed to resemble an unkempt cave which holds the idol. This year marks Santosh Mitra Square's 90th year of Durga Puja. Last year, they had recreated the Sphere from Las Vegas and the year before that, it was Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
