All you brides, look at Sayantan Sarkar's latest Drifter Soiree collection for it might want you to shift from your big fat Indian wedding to a chic, contemporary one.

What Makes It Awesome

Brides, say bye-bye to lehenags and sarees, Sayantan Sarkar is making looks that you would take up in a jiffy. Be the bride-of-a-kind with these - Sarkar has introduced skirt-style sarees, dhoti pants, asymmetrical jackets and draped skirts as your next wedding wardrobe.

For the first time ever, he has used Bengal fabrics for the entire bridal couture. Combining Murshidabad silk and jamdani together, this line is like no other. His focus is on boho brides - he wanted to do make something different from typical bridalwear.

There is a fair share of threadwork which is close to zardozi. He believes in exaggerated drapes to add the drama factor in any outfit and has thus used cotton sarees over skirts, pants and with a jacket to create something chic.

But the most catching addition to the new bridal line are the jackets with asymmetrical cuts. While the jackets can blend well with the groom's outfits, Sarkar wanted to add a feminine touch to them for the brides as well.

This line also caters to the grooms with a combination of solid, plain outfits and prints with dhotis and jackets.

Floral motifs, rich fabrics and attractive colours, we are falling in love with this boho-bridal wear collection quicker than we thought.

What Could Be Better

Slighty on the higher range, his collection starts INR 9,000 upwards.
