Finding clothes that have pockets has been a real struggle for me. But, not anymore. Based in Jaipur, SeamsFriendly's designs are all about smart, modern silhouettes fused with traditional Indian handicrafts. Their clothes are made with natural, plant-based fabric and are light and breezy. Best part? They cater to plus-size women as well and, not to forget, all their clothes have pockets!
Dresses, jumpsuits, tops, shirts, skirts, jackets, pants - they have it all, in all kinds of sizes and for all kinds of occasions. I found a pair of orange hand-spun shorts made of cotton with mirror work done on it and loved how comfortable and stylish it looked. Each piece is handcrafted by local artisans and designed to make us feel comfortable whether we're at work, out for dinner or just running errands.
We loved their plus-size collection - a nice break from the run-of-the-mill, usual designs that are available in the market. They have sizes available until 16XL so no more post-purchase alterations needed. I spotted this yellow pistachio-coloured corduroy peplum top and couldn't stop drooling over it. It's perfect for a party with the squad. Well, I know it's not possible right now but, hey, that doesn't mean one can't stock up on some party clothes!
