We Got A Sneak Peak Into Sephora & Here's Why We're Excited

Bobbi Brown, Smashbox and their own in-house line, Sephora has an incredible collection that will have every makeup lover whipping out their credit cards. 

South City may not be open yet, but Sephora certainly is. Walk in on the ground floor and Sephora is on the left if you enter from where the main entrance was {it’s the exact location of where Marks & Spencer used to be}. The store is one of the biggest make-up stores in the city and packed full of international brands that Kolkata was desperate for a taste of. 

Make-up fiends, your paradise has arrived. Tons of brands have entered the fit for the first time — Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, Stilla and Percy Reed included. You can even get Nyx at the store — no more online shopping and trying to guess which colour will go with your skin tone. 

The most exciting part? A large part of the store is dedicated to Sephora’s in-house brand which has ranges of eyewear, lip colours, skincare and more. We’re crushing on their liquid lipsticks and eye palettes in particular. You can finally buy the products you see beauty gurus on YouTube swearing by. 

Not just make-up, the store also houses entire collections of men’s and skincare products along with fragrances. We’re crushing on their in-house skincare line which has scrubs, masks, moisturisers, wipes and removers and more. The fragrances come for both men and women from a bunch of international brands. 

There’s also sections dedicated to make-up brushes and equipment. Beauty blenders galore, brushes, applicators, tools — you name it, they have it in plenty. 

The store is super brightly lit {perfect for selfies} and has tons of mirrors. The sales assistants and make-up pros and will walk you through the projects, help you try them on and even give you a “glam up”.
