Artroom is hosting a super chic and artsy event at The Salt House where you can sip on some pretty drinks, nibble on snacks while creating a masterpiece in the picturesque setting of Salt House.

What Is It?

Sip and draws are all the rage and they’ve recently become super popular in Kolkata as well. There’s no better way to relax in the evening than marvelling at the setting sun while sipping on a gorgeous mocktail and painting a masterpiece, not to mention you get to sample some of Salt House’s finger food.

The session will have a professional who will walk you through the painting {don’t worry, the canvas, paints, brushes and all other materials will be provided to you}. A step-by-step approach will leave you with a gorgeous painting that you can take home. The whole time, you’ll be bombarded with a constant supply of refreshments, mocktails and snacks – we know painting is hard work and you need all the fuel you can get.

Who Is It For?

Anyone! You don’t need to be a pro painter {it’s okay if you haven’t picked up a paintbrush since kindergarten!} everyone is welcome. It’s a totally ‘no-judgement, just paint your mind’ zone. The inspiration for the session is Claude Monet more popularly known as the Father of Impressionism.

Why Should I Go?

Because the setting is absolutely gorgeous. The Salt House is so minimalist and Pinterest-y, it’s the perfect setting that will get your visual creativity juices flowing. The beautiful wall of plants, the minimal black-white-glass tones used, the stunning overhead lights – the décor is so tasteful. Not to mention, the view from the rooftop restaurant Is sure to stir up some creativity. If you haven’t been to Kolkata’s newest rooftop restaurant, this event is a great reason to go there for the first time. Here’s everything we loved about the Salt House.
