What's Happening

SlumJam is back, and we're getting ready to hear some budding artists play incredible music, yet again. Head over to non-profit organisation, Responsible Charity's centre at Jadavpur to catch seven young talents Sayanta, Antara, Alakananda, Sayan, Arpan, Suhash and Dhritiman fingerstyle on guitar some popular covers and originals.

Sayan and Dhritiman are first timers and we are excited to hear them. Alankananda will treat us to originals, but Antara and Sayanta will play some western classical pieces. Arpan already has a fan base and will play some fusion music. Old timer Suhash will also be on board, as well as the music director of SlumJam - Deep.

SlumJam.org is a project Responsible Charity where they provide free music classes by professional music teachers to children living in slum communities and villages across India. They have been organising monthly showcases where the children and their teachers jam together and put up a live musical performances.
